Restaurant Residency Program

Restaurant Residency Program

Bring restaurants, chefs and food culture into the museum through open kitchens, tasting events, public exchange and pop-up restaurants—creating an ongoing global gastronomy experience.

01 / ABOUT RESIDENCY

What is Restaurant Residency

Restaurant Residency is a phased residency program established by the Global Gastronomy Museum for international restaurants, chef teams, coffee brands, bakery teams and food creators. Brands can operate on-site, showcase menus, exchange cultures and interact with the public for short or long terms. It is not a traditional food stall, but a fusion of food preparation, brand storytelling, live experience and cultural communication—allowing visitors to understand the food culture behind a brand through watching, tasting and exchanging.

02 / VALUE & OPPORTUNITY

Why Participate in Restaurant Residency

Restaurant Residency helps brands gain higher-quality exposure in the Chinese market. During the residency, brands not only reach ordinary consumers, but also connect with importers, distributors, catering industry partners, media and cultural institutions. Through menu showcases, product tastings, live cooking, themed events and social media communication, brands can test Chinese consumers' acceptance of products, flavors, prices and menu formats, while gaining sales opportunities, channel partnership opportunities and long-term market entry opportunities.

03 / PARTICIPATION FORMATS

What Can Be Done During Residency

Brands can choose different participation formats based on their characteristics, such as short-term pop-up restaurants, open kitchen displays, live cooking performances, product tasting events, chef dinners, brand story sharing, children's food classes, food culture workshops or seasonal limited menus.

Exhibition Live Experience

The brand's preparation process appears in the exhibition space or open kitchen, where visitors can watch pasta making, pizza baking, meat carving, coffee brewing, dessert decoration and more. This format is suitable for visually expressive, highly interactive and shareable dining brands.
