The Pasta Journey: From Wheat Field to Table

Signature Dish: Pasta

The Pasta Pavilion centers on "The Pasta Journey: From Wheat Field to Table," using warm gold and wheat-tone palettes alongside curved structures and immersive scenography to evoke a cinematic European atmosphere.

At its heart, the "Pasta Waterfall" installation transforms "flowing wheat" into artistic language, symbolizing the elevation from raw ingredient to civilization. The pavilion explores four major production regions, revealing how climate, land, and culinary tradition shape distinct pasta cultures—covering the complete process from durum wheat and handmade craftsmanship to shape diversity and regional cooking.

Combined with traditional tools, family dining scenes, and communal table culture, the exhibition emphasizes "The Regional Civilization Behind the Shape," helping visitors understand that pasta is not merely food, but a cultural language deeply connected to land, time, and life.

The Pizza Oven Fire Never Goes Out

Signature Dish: Pizza

This area serves as the opening space of the Pizza Pavilion, using "Neapolitan Streets" as its core scene prototype. Through narrow alleyways, stone walls, hanging laundry, aged shop signs, and the glow of oven fires, it creates a warm, crowded, and lived-in Southern Italian street atmosphere—allowing visitors to understand pizza as an everyday civilization born from port cities, street culture, and common life.

The space employs a semi-enclosed street layout with curved walls simulating the complex alley structures of old towns, combining distressed stone, weathered plaster, warm yellow lighting, clotheslines, vintage street lamps, dynamic light effects, and ambient sounds of street conversations and oven fires to reinforce "being inside the street."

Through low-contrast video projections, open pizza oven models, and dough displays, supplemented by scent, lighting, and heat simulation of a real oven environment, the space establishes a strong sense of regional emotion and cultural immersion from the very first moment of entry.

The Golden Age of Cheese

Signature Dish: Parmigiano-Reggiano

The Parma Cheese Pavilion centers on "The Golden Age of Cheese," guiding visitors to deeply explore this land recognized by UNESCO as a City of Gastronomy—understanding how time, terroir, and artisan spirit condense into blocks of legendary cheese.

The pavilion fully presents the century-old craft from raw milk collection, curd cutting, boiling and molding, to brining and aging. Visitors can observe up close the texture, color, and crystalline changes of cheeses at different ages (12, 24, and 36 months), feeling the layered depth that time bestows upon flavor.

The exhibition features a DOP-certified workshop where cheesemakers demonstrate traditional hand-cutting and tasting techniques on site, explaining the strict standards of Parmigiano-Reggiano's protected geographical indication, and why only specific production areas such as Parma and Reggio Emilia can give birth to the true "King of Cheeses."

Italian Soul in a Cup

Signature Dish: Coffee

The Italian Coffee Pavilion unfolds around the coffee personalities of Milan, Rome, and Naples:

  • Milan emphasizes efficiency and quality, showcasing the urban culture of "coffee as rhythm" through standing bar interactions, espresso aroma identification, and crema observation devices.
  • Rome focuses on socializing and lingering, restoring the living atmosphere of the café as a "public living room" through vintage street corners, open seating, urban sound sampling, and coffee table social zones.
  • Naples spotlights human warmth, transmitting the spiritual core of kindness and connection through the "suspended coffee" interactive wall and emotional message installation.

The exhibition also features an Italian Coffee Workshop where professional baristas guide visitors through the full production experience from grinding to extraction, achieving a transformation from "viewer" to "participant." The concluding commercial and cultural creative zone combines product experience with reflective function: through three post-coffee reflection modules (slow living vs. fast pace, global chains vs. local culture, beverage vs. lifestyle), it guides visitors to a brief contemplation of coffee's cultural significance before departure, ending with a memory wall and message area as the emotional finale of the exhibition.
